It wasn't in the safe just 50,000 gold and some gold bars. I think one must be in the bank but how I find the pin number I have no idea. But I don't have a scooby were to look for the last two. THOUGH, even if he DID fail, the newspaper clipping simply says that Felix Hawley's career was tragically cut short. And then took his leg to his house of horrors? Perhaps - perhaps - when he was much more of a novice he took a stab at killing Felix Hawley but failed. He also has a tendency to hack off people's legs and other body parts. I feel like this is located in one of the least explored regions of the map. I thought maybe this was just supposed to be some sort of Tonya Harding/Nancy Kerrigan easter egg but, I dunno, maybe there's more. What happened to his leg, how did he die, and who hated him so much? But maybe not, right? Because that sure begs a lot of questions. This is very likely open and shut just like that and there is nothing more to it. His body has also been exhumed and he is missing a part of his leg. Outside the cabin, however, is a grave that has Felix Hawley's name on it with "NO ICE IN HELL" scrawled over it. Refresher: at Barrow Lagoon there is a remote cabin that has the Felix Hawley card in it. There's only a finite number of Points of Interest, yet the Red Dead wiki doesn't even really sufficiently document it and neither does IGN. Each class takes you on a different course throughout your quest making it ever so unique.You know, I found this to be one of the most interesting things you can stumble upon in this game and it puzzles me that almost nobody has discussed it in this subreddit or online in general.
